******************
Erin Hayes is a single mom of two small children in South Mississippi, who has lived through a battle with her abusive live in boyfriend, every day of her life for almost a decade.
When a night filled with a new kind of terror almost kills Erin, she decides while laying in a hospital bed, that she must make a run for it, if she wants to live long enough to watch her children grow up. Within days, her and her children are riding across country on a Greyhound bus, not knowing where they will end up, but just waiting for God to show them where there new home should be. Upon arriving in California, Erin steps off the bus to see she is now in a real live Indian reservation in the middle of the Klamoth Mountains. Falling in love with this place called "Hoopa Valley" as soon as she glanced around her, she decides this is where God ment for them to be.
Then as life quickly falls into place for them, and after renting their own little nest, Erin begins to learn the legends of the Hoopa Indians and hears the stories of a creature they call Oh Mah. She learns very quickly that Oh Mah is indeed a Bigfoot and that the Hoopa Indians believe him to be a protector or a guardian of this beautiful 21st century Indian reservation, that is swallowed by waterfalls and Forrest of pure untouched beauty.
But little did Erin know, that her new life would soon be disrupted by a new kind of Nightmare. As the legends reach her in her dreams, then become real in her everyday life, and then to find herself lost and hurt in a unknown land, with no one to save her except a hairy creature that she had always believed to be a myth.
Then come in the poachers, that take terror to a whole new level as they whisk Erin away and torture her beyond reason, mentally and physically. How can she ecscape? Will she ever see her children again? Will she live through this night?

**********
It would walk through the Forrest at night, seeing things in the dark that a mans eyes could not see. He would wander from dusk to dawn listening, watching, waiting for anything or anyone that may need him. The creatures of the Forrest knew him and would not run away, but to him as in a greeting. He walked silently and moved like fog through the brush and loose rocks, as he made his way through the hills and behind the falls as he followed his nightly journey. When he came upon a poachers camp, he quickly attacked the men as they sat drinking around their camp fires, proud of their daily slaughters. But as Oh Mah ran into the camp, gunshots were fired, screams echoed through the silent night and blood soaked into the ground of both man and beast....only one could win this battle. Would it be man? Or a creature that was not supposed to even exsist?
